How to Use Daltons Lawn Soil

1. New Lawns & Instant Turf

1. Clear and level the area – remove weeds with non-residual spray if needed.
2. Spread Daltons Lawn Soil evenly to 50–75mm depth (or 75–100mm over clay/sandy base).
3. New Lawns: Sow quality lawn seed per packet instructions. Roll, rake, and water daily until established.
4. Instant Turf: Apply light layer of Daltons Lawn Fertiliser before laying. Soak thoroughly after installation – lift a corner to check water penetration.

2. Lawn Patching & Topdressing

1. Fill low spots with 15–20mm of soil, leaving grass tips visible.
2. Level, lightly fertilise with Daltons Lawn Fertiliser, and water well.

3. Aftercare

• Fertilise again after 3–6 weeks using Daltons Lawn Fertiliser (new lawn rate).
• Water regularly – delay seeding if water supply is limited until wetter months.
